How does a 'Forward to Friend' form work?

A 'Forward to Friend' form can only be linked to from within an email campaign because it is a user specific. 


In order for it to work, it needs to be included in the email campaign as the form needs to know what email to forward and from whom it is being forwarded from.

How do I create a "Forward to Friend" form?


On your Pinpointe account home page, click on Forms -> Create Form (Fig 1).

Click Select on Forward to Friend Forms row to create a Forward to Friend Forms (Fig 2).

On this next page, click the "select" button on the Forward to Friend Forms description.


Make any changes you need to when creating the Forward to Friend Form and click Save on the Error Page tab when you're finished (Fig 3).

How do I place a 'Forward to Friend' form link in an email campaign?

While creating your Email Campaign in the DND Builder, drag over a Basic Block, then drag a Text widget onto the Basic Block (Fig 4).

Now, click inside the text widget where you want the form link to be added. Scroll down in Text Options until you reach the Insert Custom Fields section. Below this will be Forward to a Friends (Fig 5).  Click the form name that you would like to add to your email. A link to the form will be added to the text.

After sending the email campaign, people that receive the email can click on the Forward to Friend link to be redirected to the Forward to Friend form (Fig 6).
