Before enabling 2FA, it's important to verify that your contact details (email address, mobile phone number) are correct!
If you have shared user/subuser logins, you'll need to set up separate subuser logins for each person that accesses Pinpointe. Please contact Pinpointe Support for assistance.
If you want to change your 2FA method after setting it up, go into your Account Settings by clicking the icon in the upper-right (Fig 1).

On the Account Settings page, you will see "Register 2FA method" button next to 2FA methods you can change your Account to (Mobile Phone, Contact Email, Register 2FA Method) (Fig 2). If you already have a 2FA method, then you can't change your account to it.

Changing to 2FA SMS Text Message Method
On the Account Settings page, click the "Register 2FA method" next to the Mobile Phone field (Fig 3).

In the window that pops up, click Send Code to receive a 2FA code via SMS text message on your mobile phone to confirm changing your 2FA to SMS Text Message (Fig 4).

In the window that pops up, type in the verification code received via SMS Text Message and click the Verify button (Fig 5). If you like, check the checkbox so the verification code is remembered for 30 days.

Congratulations! You've now changed your 2FA method to SMS Text Message.
Changing to 2FA Email Method
On the Account Settings page, click the "Register 2FA method" next to the Contact Email Field (Fig 6).

In the window that pops up, click Send Code to receive a 2FA code via email to confirm changing your 2FA to Email (Fig 4).

In the window that pops up, type in the verification code received via Email and click the Verify button (Fig 8). If you like, check the checkbox so the verification code is remembered for 30 days.

Congratulations! You've now changed your 2FA method to Email.
Changing to Time-Based One-Time Code Method
On the Account Settings page, click the "Register 2FA method" next to the Time-Based One-Time Password Field (Fig 9).

In the window that pops up, click Continue to receive a 2FA code via your authenticator app on your mobile phone to confirm changing your 2FA to Time-Based One-Time Password (Fig 11). You will need to scan the QR code in your authenticator app to receive the code.

In the window that pops up, type in the verification code received via authenticator app and click the Verify button. If you like, check the checkbox so the verification code is remembered for 30 days.
Congratulations! You've now changed your 2FA method to Time-Based One-Time Password.
