In this scenario, let's assume you have already sent an email campaign to the contacts in your database. Now, assume it is two weeks later and you would like to resend the campaign only to the new contacts that have joined the list since the date the newsletter was last sent. There are two ways to achieve what you're looking to do:
OPTION #1: Manual Setup
- Click on the "Send Email' link or icon on the home screen.
Select "Do an 'On-The-Fly' Search for Contacts" and select the contacts database(s) you would like to include and click the "Next >>" button.
- On the next screen, under FILTER BY BASIC DETAILS, next to Date Added, put a checkmark next to "Yes, filter by date subscribed." This will give you a date field that you can select.
You select the date that you want to filter by, so it would be something like: Contacts that have subscribed after 31 Aug 2015.
Send the newsletter as per normal.
This will only send the emails to people who have subscribed after you have sent the email the first time.
OPTION #2: Trigger Email
Another alternative to this is to create a trigger email instead of a regular email campaign. You can then set the trigger email to be sent immediately after someone subscribes to your list. You'll also want to remember to select to send to existing contacts. What this will do is send the email to all the current contacts on your contact list and then will send to anyone who signs up after.
