Clicking the Social Sharing widget after adding it opens up the Social Options menu on the left (Fig 2).
Fig 2
There are three sets of Options:
- Column Options
- Element Options
- Social Options
Column Options let you set the background color and padding of the column the Social Sharing widgets is in.
Element Options let you change the background color of the row behind the social media icons (by default, this is set to "none". Padding for the Social Sharing widget is also adjusted here.
Each Social Option (by default Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn) can have 1 out of 4 links configured for them so when you click the social media platform's icon, one of the following will happen:
- Visit: Go directly to the social media account
- Share: Share a link to the social media platform
- Follow: Follow a social media's account
- URL: Enter a custom URL in Social Options)
Clicking the "Add Icon" button lets you add more social media icons with customizable background, border, and icon colors (Fig 3). Note that social media icons that aren't the defaults will only have the "Visit", "Follow", and "URL" checkboxes.
